When God? When?

When will God answer my prayer? I’m sure you have asked this question. I know that I have, many times. I have prayed some heartfelt prayers to God about many topics. From guidance in ministry, to healing my son, Nathan. I’ve prayed for peace at work, for comfort in my times of distress and I’ve even prayed to shoot a big deer. I’ve prayed a lot and each prayer has been heard by God. Now, all my prayers are not answered in my timing. In fact, some of my prayers will possibly go unanswered. But, unanswered prayers is the name of a field that I travel in. In my travels through this field called unanswered prayers, I walk with Christ. I’m not alone when I feel as if God isn’t listening. Often, when I feel that God isn’t listening, it’s honestly me that’s not listening. I need to Be Still and know that He is still God. He loves me. He cares for me. He will never leave me or forsake me. So in the middle of this field of prayers, whether answered or unanswered, He owns the field. I just need to yield……
