It feels good to be on top. When your on top of the world, when all is well, you smile more, you laugh more and you just carry yourself in such a happy way. Shouldn’t we also remain this way in times of trouble? Yes, we should! It’s extremely hard to laugh in the face of trials and troubles, but it isn’t impossible. We Christians make our mistakes in our responses to circumstances. We forget that the God that delivered us from sin’s penalty and bondage, is the same God that will deliver us from our time of trouble. Mountain tops have a wonderful view, but our Spiritual Growth comes when we walk in the valley. Whether on top of a hill or deep in a hole, God is God of them both. Be Still, and know He is God.
