Most people would say that they would prefer flowers over thorns. Flowers look great, they smell great and they make us feel happy. Thorns are ugly, they cut us and they leave scars. Flowers draw your attention, thorns we try and avoid. In life, we receive both flowers of blessings and thorns of heartache. We are called to not be affected emotionally by situations. Rely on Jesus no matter which season of life your currently in. Focus on Christ, not the flowers and thorns.
